WAFU Cup: Okpotu, Moses fire Nigeria into semi-final

Nigeria’s Super Eagles team B yesterday beat their Ghanaian counterparts 2-0 to reach the semi-final of the West Africa Football Union Cup of Nations ongoing in Cape Coast, Ghana. Anthony Okpotu and Peter Eneji Moses, who emerged Man of the Match, scored for the Super Eagles after the break in the match the Salisu Yusuf coached side needed to win to remain in the tournament. With the win Nigeria placed second behind Ghana in the group A standing. The Super Eagles will meet the winner in group B.
